Paul’s Review
We retained Relocation Services of Ecuador in 2025, owned by Paul Wilches, to move our household goods from Oregon to Ecuador.
Paul is the consummate professional – very knowledgeable, excellent and prompt communication, available to assist at any moment, and with a calm presence much needed in such a time consuming and emotionally charged experience.
Paul guided us through this complex process with ease, and surprisingly with no wrinkles at all. We first ‘met’ via a zoom meeting, after which we received a comprehensive packet of paperwork to guide us through the process: selection of a container size, packing and labelling, shipping from Oregon to the CA seaport, arrival in Guayaquil and inspection, paperwork at the airport, and filing and legalizing with the Notary, and lastly, shipping to our home in Cuenca and to a storage facility. This final leg required a non expected deposit which was timely returned by Paul.
The entire process went off without a hitch and remarkably, not one item (out of 264 boxes) was damaged. We hope we never have to do this again (!) but, if we did, Paul would be the first person we would call.
