To Whom It May Concern:

Moving to Ecuador can be VERY stressful! One way to minimize stress and costly errors is to hire those who are known to be the best in the industry. It is for this reason we did the most research we could possibly do through videos, newsletters and recommendations from other expats.

Though it shouldn’t be, my wife and I were concerned about mistakenly hiring someone who would not respect women or the fact that we have been in a committed (now married) same sex relationship for over 15 years. After doing our due diligence, it became very clear that Paul Wilches of Relocation Services Ecuador was the best choice for us.

From the very beginning, Paul was VERY respectful, understanding, knowledgeable, professional, responsive, thorough, detailed, patient, and answered every question no matter how many times we probably asked the same question! He was available at all times from the beginning of the process to the very end.

His contract was clear, detailed and the pricing was inline with other shipping companies we interviewed. He provided us with detailed instructions on how to pack! We shipped a 20’ x 40’ container. Of the 317 items we brought, Customs chose 39. We got dinged for just 3 boxes that we either missed described an item correctly or miscounted the inventory in the box. Because we followed Paul’s instructions the best we knew how to which included wrapping, packing and labeling, the penalty fee for what Customs got us for was the minimal amount. We are also extremely happy to report nothing is missing from what was packed.

His right hand person, Angela was fantastic, professional and punctual. The movers also arrived on time, were very kind and respectful. We are grateful that during unloading day, they put us at ease during the most stressful times.
